EVS Project “European Solidarity Design”
New EVS opportunity!
We are looking for 1 18-30 y.o. volunteer for an EVS project in Romania, at A.C.T.O.R.- Cultural Association for Theatre and Origami in Romania. The project starts on 1st September 2018 and lasts 6 months.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of English
- Willingness to live and work in a big European capital city
- Motivation to work with young people and kids (also from disadvantaged backgrounds)
- Interest in visual communication, visual arts and multimedia
- Interest in pedagogy and psychology of child education
Volunteer’s tasks and activities:
- Promote the European Solidarity Corps and solidarity in general through non-formal activities and theater workshop involving young people
- Design and carry on visual art labs and workshops with kids and youngsters in schools and hospitals
- Manage a blog to post works, movies and materials on solidarity
- Manage the visibility of the project
- Create a tool kit about visual communication on solidarity and a magazine to spread knowledge about current projects
- Realizing plays and shadow puppetry shows for kids about the theme of solidarity
